Teaching experience of more than 16 years. His association with IMI started in 1999, since then he has been teaching in various competency courses Pre Sea, Modular and Simulator based courses. In between was HOI in J. Sons Merchant Navy Institute, Meerut and Director in AMMET a group of Institutions of AMET, Chennai.

Work Experience: More than 15 years of Sailing Experience. Sailed on Indian navy ships from 1977 to 1993 and merchant ships from 2010 to 2014. Sailed on Bulk Carriers, Dredgers and tugs. Teaching experience of more than 7 years of which four years in Indian navy and three years in merchant navy (IMI and FOSMA). Teaching pre sea subjects Navigation, Bridge equipment, Chart works, Meteorology and also post sea courses ROC, ARPA, RANSCO and SSO.

Sailed on Bulk Carrier, General Cargo, oil Tanker, Oil Storage Tanker, Off-Shore Vessel including Seismic Research Survey Vessel. Teaching experience of more than 9 years including in Indian Navy. His association with IMI Started in 2013. Since then he has been teaching in various competency courses Pre-sea, Modular and Simulator based courses. Also worked as a visiting Faculty member in FOSMA in Noida prior Joining IMI Greater Noida.
In addition, has served in the Indian Navy for close to 20 years (1973 -1992). sailed as training officer in Training ship and experience in training naval officers in shore establishment. Also worked as a syndicate officer in leadership training schools for senior sailors of Indian Navy.
Capt. Sanjay Tikku , TS Rajendra 1980-81, Master (FG) 1989

Work experience – Sailing experience of nearly 24 years from 1981 to 2005 including nearly 12 years as a Master. Sailed onboard bulk carriers, General cargo and Multipurpose Ships. Also worked ashore for a year in a container terminal and for nine years in vessel operations/planning of a major container line. Teaching at IMI since Feb 2016.

14 years sailing experience with Great Eastern Shipping Co and with Anglo Eastern Ship Management Hong Kong, sailed on petroleum tankers, dry bulk carriers and container vessels.
5 years experience as technical superintendent worked with Pacific Marine and Executive Ship Management Singapore and senior technical superintendent managing tankers.

Work Experience: He has served 38+ years at sea, which in Indian navy(17.5 years), has undergone Mechanical Engineer training at INS-SHIVAJI, Lonavala, Maharastra. Worked as engine room in charge having two units of 15,000 kW each of Gas turbines as well as associated to marine gas turbine overhauling Centre, Visakhapatnam for 3 years to carry out capital repairs of Gas turbines. He has served 22 years in Merchant navy onboard different types of ships eg. Off shore supply vessels, dry cargo ships and container ships including continuous 14 years with Anglo Eastern management company. Joined our steemed organisation with effect from 23rd July 2015 onwards to till to date as a teaching faculty.

Work Experience: More than 15 years of Sailing Experience, on Oil Tankers (Including VLCC's) & Offshore Supply Vessels. More than 5 Years of Teaching Experience (Teaching Offshore Since May 2012). Along with Teaching the Bridging Courses (Such as AMOS-Planned Maintenance System, Risk management, MLC etc.) have been teaching regular Subjects and STCW Cources.
Capt Suneel K. Bhatia (T.S. Rajendra 1976-77)
Work Experience: Rich sailing experience of 40 years (from 1977 to 2017). In command for 26 years (from 1991 to 2017) mainly on Crude oil tankers and Product tankers varying from handy size to Suezmax with extensive experience on Aframax shuttle tankers involved in STS operations in US Gulf& Singapore, alongwith a short stint on OBOs and a VLOC. Teaching Experience: worked as a visiting faculty at FOSMA (Delhi) & FOSMA (Noida) teaching mainly Ship Handling to mates & masters and conducting modular courses such as LCHS, RANSCO, BTM& BRM. Presently working with IMI since July 2017.
